Ladies, it is important to know how to change a flat tyre.

The ability to change a tyre is something all women should know how to do because you never know when you’ll have a flat tyre.

– Vuyi Mpofu, Founder of Gals Garage

We are excited to be hosting a Tyre Safety Workshop on 22 May 2021.  Aimed primarily at women with daughters of driving age (licensed or not) the Workshop also accommodates women who simply want to come along to educate and empower themselves.

“The ability to change a tyre is something all motorists (especially women) should know how to do because you never know when you’ll have a flat tyre.  Even if you are subscribed to a roadside assistance company, it is vital for your safety and convenience to know what to do should one of your tyres lose that much pressure”, Vuyi Mpofu, Founder of Gals Garage said.

Many female motorists stranded along the side of the road due to a flat tyre while waiting for assistance, expose themselves to opportunistic criminals.

Of course we all seem to live by the “it won’t happen to me” mantra, but if you happen to be in a poor network area it may be difficult to call anyone; meaning you could be stranded for a while.

Asides from learning how to change a flat tyre, guests at our Workshop guests will also get to test drive a variety of Toyota vehicles as well as learn about wheel balancing, wheel alignment, tyre pressure, and the legal tyre tread depth among other topics.

Sign up and join us on Saturday 22ndMay 2021.  You won’t regret it!
