Volvo Cars is no newcomer to crash tests – the company has one of the most state-of-the-art crash laboratories in the automotive world and it’s long been synonymous with safety.

But now it has teamed up with top Swedish sports and safety brand POC to undertake the world’s first crash tests of bike helmets against cars. These vitally important tests can save lives and prevent harm to cyclists; wearing a helmet can reduce a cyclist’s risk of sustaining a head and brain injury by up to 80%.
